French classes in Alameda
Welcome to our French program in Alameda!
We have 2 groups: Francophones (children who understand and speak French) and Anglophones (children who don't understand French), both of them subdivided into 2 age group: K to 2ndG and 3 to 5th.G.
Classes will typically meet after school at 2:50pm in the yard. A teacher-assistant will start the French immersion by talking, engaging in games and having snacks all in the Moliere Language. This will allow enough time to other kids who are not at Earhart to join the group. At 3:30pm, the formal class will start with the teacher and will be dismissed at 5pm.
Classes take place on Tuesday and Friday for the Francophones, Friday for the Anglophones.
For those interested, the curriculum taught allow students to take exams (DELF) that will allow them to acquire 3 levels of certification (diplôme d'études en langue Française).

Registration fee: $50/per family
Discounts for siblings: 10% off for EACH child attending

On this site, you can fill in our registration form, enroll your child(children) and pay online. Siblings get 10%.
If you prefer to pay by check, submit your registration form and send your check payable to EFBA to this address: EFBA, 640 Davis #26, San Francisco, CA 94111. Please note on your check the site where you are registering, as well as your child's name.
EFBA reserves the right to cancel and/or change the schedule, locations or time of any classes or sessions at any time without liability.
Classes may be cancelled due to lack of enrollment.
