EFBA's Summer Camp 2012
6 weeks of summer vacation in France... transplanted in the Silicon Valley from June 18th to July 27th 2012!
Our camps are designed for children K-5th grade and are held on the German International School in Mountain View campus. They run daily Monday through Friday, 9-3pm, with optional extended care from 8 to 9am and from 3 to 6pm.
Your French councilors take the children on an amazing journey through the ages and culture of France. Kids spend their “French vacation” just as if they were actually there, with an hour a day of formal French class and participate in sports, art activities, cooking, collective games, etc. The program engages their imagination, spark their creativity and leave them laughing and wanting more.
All activities are conducted in French, which means a full day of immersion of at least 6 hours (up to 10 hours with the extended care)!
During the daily 1 hour class, francophones and anglophones children are grouped depending on their level: 3 levels of French for native speakers (cycle 1, cycle 2, cycle 3) and 2 levels for anglophones (beginners and advanced).
Classes are taught by an EFBA teacher, with EFBA’s fun yet academic philosophy. The counselors are mature, happy, nurturing native-speakers. They act as role models and engage your children at all time in French. They are trained by the EFBA and are CPR & First Aid certified. All personnel and volunteers is fingerprinted.
Weekly Themes
Week 1: June 18-22 - Pirates of the Caribbeans.
Week 2: June 25-29 - Knights, princesses and castles.
Week 3: July 2-6 - The revolution.
Week 4: July 9-13 - World chefs' week.
Week 5: July 16-20 - The mysteries of Paris.
Week 6: July 23-27 - French carnival.

Cancellation policy
- 75% back if cancelled by June 1
- 50% back if cancelled 1 week prior to beginning of camp session.
- No refunds issued other than with a proof of medical/ family emergency less than one week prior to the first day camp session begins.
