Marketing Coordinator - Volunteer Position
The fundamental role of the Marketing Coordinator is to foster and support the site coordinator’s efforts to bring families to our front door. In conjunction with the Fundraising coordinator, those efforts should also increase EFBA’s visibility and bring donors.
Scope of responsibilities:
He/She
- Proposes to the Board a global strategy (short & long terms) to hone EFBA branding in accordance with EFBA mission and philosophy.
- Implements this strategy once approved.
- Conceives & coordinates the marketing tools (that can be tailored by sites),
- Participates in student recruitment by placing ads
- Feeds EFBA Facebook page and participates to the EFBA Newsletters & Journal Francofornien.
- Organizes EFBA participation to regional community events (French fair…)
- Standardizes EFBA communication by creating an EFBA template (.ppt) with the Board
- Works with the other U.S. sister organizations to create a benchmark (strategy, targets, prices, places, philosophy, ...)
- Works with Fundraising Coordinator on campaigns
- Advises the Board on Marketing issues
The position reports to the President.
Skills and experience required:
- Experience in direct and online marketing is a must.
- Analytical and data-driven, excited to track and optimize campaign numbers
- Highly organized – detail-oriented, demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects at the same time with tight deadlines, excellent time-management & project management.
- Innovative- thinks outside the box.
- Command of both French and English is a must.
- Knowledge of educational institutions is desired
Workload: 2 hours a week during the school year, more intensive during the back-to-school month.
Status: volunteer
