HR Associate - Volunteer position
Scope of responsibilities:
He/She
- Checks employment eligibility, references, absence of criminal record abroad
- Prepares and conducts new employee orientations to foster positive attitude toward organizational objectives.
- Drafts EFBA employee’s manual.
- Creates and maintains a “substitute-tree” for teachers and assistants
- Participates to the implementation of the employee evaluation software.
- The position reports to the HR Director.
Skills and experience required:
- No prior experience in human resources required.
- Tact, diplomacy, discretion and the ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization in both verbal and written formats.
- Organization skills to perform a variety of tasks simultaneously without close supervision.
- Ability to understand, seek clarification when needed, and carry out assignments from verbal and written communication.
- Proficiency and accuracy in use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Internet search engines.
- Command of English and deep knowledge of the US are a must. Command of French is highly desired.
Workload: 10-20 hours a week during the school year, more intensive during the back-to-school preparation.
