HR Associate - Volunteer position


Scope of responsibilities:
He/She

  • Checks employment eligibility, references, absence of criminal record abroad
  • Prepares and conducts new employee orientations to foster positive attitude toward organizational objectives.
  • Drafts EFBA employee’s manual.
  • Creates and maintains a “substitute-tree” for teachers and assistants
  • Participates to the implementation of the employee evaluation software.
  • The position reports to the HR Director.

Skills and experience required:

  • No prior experience in human resources required.
  • Tact, diplomacy, discretion and the ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization in both verbal and written formats.
  • Organization skills to perform a variety of tasks simultaneously without close supervision.
  • Ability to understand, seek clarification when needed, and carry out assignments from verbal and written communication.
  • Proficiency and accuracy in use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Internet search engines.
  • Command of English and deep knowledge of the US are a must. Command of French is highly desired.

Workload:  10-20 hours a week during the school year, more intensive during the back-to-school preparation.
Status: intern
Compensation: TBD.
